Located 15 miles / 24 km south of Akron and 10 miles / 16 km north of Canton, Akron Canton Airport has a wide range of ground transportation options to cities and towns in the region. Choose from local buses, commercial shuttles, taxis and limousines.

The Marriot, Holiday Inn, Sheraton and Quality Inn all have complimentary transfers to and from the airport for their guests.

Local Buses

Stark Area Regional Transport Authority (SARTA) operates regular bus services to Canton and regions to the east, west and south of the airport, while Akron Metro takes passengers north to destinations in and around Akron. Contact the airport information desk for current timetables.

Shuttle Buses

Two commercial shuttle companies, Hopkins and Shuttle One, operate from the airport and can be booked to take passengers to any location in the region. Hopkins in particular is convenient for those wishing to travel from Akron Canton to Cleveland.

Hotel Shuttles

Nearby large hotels including the Marriot, Sheraton, Holiday Inn and Quality Inn all offer complimentary CAK airport transfers for their guests. Other accommodation providers in Akron and Canton may also provide a pickup / drop-off service; check with your hotel or travel agent prior to your arrival.

Limousines

Hopkins Airport Limousine and Shuttle Service have limousines for hire to take you from Akron Canton to destinations such as Cleveland. Limousines must be booked prior to your arrival at the airport.

Taxi Cabs

Two cab companies, Yellow Cab of Akron and Airport Express Cab, have large fleets of taxis on standby at the taxi rank located outside of the Baggage Claim area. Taxis are available daily from 04:00 to 01:00.
